The CMS Pedagogies & Innovations in Music series consists of short studies and manuals from a variety of music disciplines engaged in pedagogical discovery and innovative approaches to learning, creativity, performance, and scholarship. Serving faculty, administrators, instructors, and future instructors, these short-form books provide new ideas and theories about music curricula in higher education; evidence-based discussions on pedagogical methods and emerging methodologies for teaching music; strategies for improving musical careers; and resources for areas of study outside the traditional Western musical canon.
