Current Debates in European Integration

About the Series

This peer-reviewed series focuses on the contemporary challenges to democracy sensu largo, the rule of law (Rechtsstaat) and the respect for fundamental (human) rights, which are – as challenges – related to the European integration project. Each volume in the series offers a timely critical analysis of a single pressing challenge, possibly supplemented with policy advice, thus making it useful for both fellow academics as well as for policymakers. The book series analyses these challenges from a multidisciplinary perspective, yet law and political science dominate.
