This book series aims to build a cross-national, cross-regional academic platform for Chinese language education. It will consolidate the knowledge and strengths of scholars and experts in Greater China, Asia, North America and Europe to enhance the research in Chinese language education and investigate the significance of Chinese culture in the world today.
The books in the series contain both theoretical discussions and practical application in Chinese Language education (both L1 and L2).
It covers themes such as: Effective Chinese Learning and teaching; Teacher education; Chinese Literacy education; Teaching the Chinese Language as a Second/International Language; Use of Information technology and innovative pedagogies in Chinese Language education; and Chinese Language acquisition from the perspectives of Chinese Linguistics and Chinese learners.
